Turn Off Battery Optimization on Samsung, Xiaomi and Oppo So Transfer Reception Never Stops

Your app is installed and linked, yet a transfer is confirmed late or the device shows offline. Usually the cause is battery optimization: Samsung, Xiaomi, Oppo and others put background apps to sleep, which is the opposite of what a collection phone needs. If you haven't set up the app yet, start with installing the Daffaa Android app.

Turn off battery optimization from the in-app Setup steps

Open Setup steps in the app. It shows the steps for your phone brand, and each item opens the right settings screen: disable battery optimization, enable notifications, auto-start, and permissions. Items already done show "Already allowed". If a shortcut doesn't open the right screen, use "Open settings manually".

Samsung

Settings → Battery → Background usage limits: make sure Daffaa isn't in Sleeping or Deep sleeping apps. Then Settings → Apps → Daffaa → Battery → Unrestricted.

Xiaomi / Redmi / Poco

Security → Permissions → Autostart → enable Daffaa. Settings → Apps → Daffaa → Battery saver → No restrictions. Then lock Daffaa in the recent-apps screen.

Oppo, Realme, Vivo, Huawei

Oppo/Realme: Settings → Battery → Daffaa → allow background activity and auto-start, and lock it in recent apps. Vivo: allow high background power usage and enable auto-start in the permission manager. Huawei: Battery → App launch → Daffaa → turn off "Manage automatically" and enable auto-launch, secondary launch and run in background. Other brands: open the app's settings and allow Daffaa in the battery and auto-start options.

Verify on the dashboard

On the Devices page, "No Battery Restrictions" (Battery Optimization Ignored) must show Granted, and the last heartbeat should stay recent even after a couple of hours untouched. Don't leave the phone's general power-saving mode on; Daffaa sends an alert when it detects it.

Run a real test

Leave the phone idle with the screen off for an hour or two, then receive a small transfer (EGP 10–20). If it appears in Transactions seconds after the SMS, background running works. If it waits until you open the app, recheck auto-start and the recent-apps lock. You can also use the reception test.

• Don't swipe the app away from recent apps.
• Keep the phone charging if your store runs all day.
• Recheck these settings after major system updates.
• Enable device alerts (Telegram/WhatsApp alerts) and read keeping the collection phone online.
